Purest Omega 3 Wild Alaskan Fish
Our clinical strength fish oil packs a real punch, with 3,500mg of Omega 3 (2,000mg of EPA, 1,000mg of DHA and 500mg of other Omega 3s) in every teaspoon, while a daily dose of four of our tiny capsules contain 1,460mg of Omega 3 (860mg of EPA and 440mg of DHA).
Our oil comes from sardines, anchovies and mackerel, which have very high levels of Omega 3, but are small and have short life spans – so they have little time to build up pollutants.
Also referred to as ‘bioavailability’, this is how easily your body can use the nutrients in your fish oil, which is based on the molecular structure of the fatty acids. The more natural its structure, and the less ‘processed’ it is, the better. So fish oil direct from a fish will be most easily absorbed.
The key benefit of taking Omega 3 in liquid form is it tends to be absorbed better. Your digestive system has to effectively break down the capsule before it can absorb the Omega 3. Most brands use pork or beef gelatin, which is very tough and therefore harder to breakdown. We use fish gelatin, which is easier on your digestion and also means our supplements are suitable for non-meat eaters.
Market leading TOTOX score
Fish oils that are tested are assigned a TOTOX score which measures the levels of rancidity and oxidation. Coyne Healthcare are Market leaders with a score of 5, which is the lowest possible!
Benefits of the Purest Omega 3 Wild Alaskan Fish
- Weight loss
Research shows a diet with healthy fats, specifically the fatty acids EPA and DHA in fish oil, help lower total body fat compared with other fatty acids. Fish oil can also positively affect stress hormones like cortisol to lower chronic inflammation that sometimes stalls fat loss.
- Mental health
Studies show DHA and EPA can help improve your mood, ameliorate depression, and boost overall cognitive performance. DHA benefits brain development and performance, while EPA improves mood and behaviour.
Inflammation affects every disease, including dementia. Research shows omega-3 fats can decrease symptoms of Alzheimer’s and prevent dementia.
Fish oil can alleviate stress and the stress-related damage. One study found using fish oil for just three weeks reduced several stress markers including cortisol and adrenaline.
Fish oil can greatly reduce risk for many types of cancers, including colon, prostate, and breast cancer. Studies show fish oil can make conventional cancer drugs more effective and provides an effective therapy on its own.
Combining quality fish oil with a low-glycemic, higher quality fat diet creates a path to becoming lean and healthy.
