Dosage – A multi strain probiotic featuring Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1 has a wide dosage range. From 1.5 to 3 billion colony forming units (CFU) can be used daily for maintenance, or a higher strength daily supplement of 20 billion can be used safely long-term if desired.
Potential applications – Daily digestive health and wellbeing, immunity.
Known contraindications- Professional supervision is recommended in people taking immunosuppressant medications or who are immunocompromised e.g. infants, elderly or critical illness.
Probiotics are considered safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
